is born in 1969 in France. She is married to a Swedish man with whom she has a son. After her bar examination in Luxembourg and a brief experience in an American bank, she joined the European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main in 1999 in the legal department, moved 6 years later to the organisational department and is now a manager in the HR department.

Next to her professional assignments, Valérie has spent the last 20 years studying, training and practicing what she likes to call 'human technologies'. Her quest for making sense of life fundamental questions drove her to take various qualifications in the field of:

  • coaching (NLP, Kinesiology, Transformation Game);
  • mental training (lateral thinking & mindmapping); and
  • emotional intelligence and and body awareness (progressive muscles relaxation, Tai Chi, Yoga).

but also large scale interventions using:

  • advanced facilitation skills (Theme centered interactions, Theory U, World Cafe, Open Space Technology);
  • process (for in business ARIS, for people Carl Rogers school of thinking); and
  • project management (IPMA).

Valérie is a trainer in one of the only three German certifications that delivers the title of  MBSR teacher recognised by the German Association for MBSR.

Sandrine Corvoisier / Organiser

is born in 1969 in France. Her partner is German and they have a son. Sandrine spends her time between work and family, taking regularly time to develop herself and take part in seminars.

In the MAW project, Sandrine is taking care of the registration and the open doors. She has experience in meditation and Tea ceremony and is  passionate about Japan.

Along with Valérie and Sandrine, a number of occasional facilitators are also supporting the MAW platform.

  • Uta Elbers: yoga teacher. Uta has been a key player in the first year of the MAW project.
  • Jorg Schimanski: Alexander Technique practitioner; and
  • Catherine Brodie: mindfulness self-help group facilitator.
